Windborne Photographic Studios has always been known for its creative senior pictures. Our challenge is being sure that we produce unique portraits for all of our High School Graduates. Senior portraits can be taken at the studio or at one of the many awesome locations in Northern Michigan, including; the historic State Hospital grounds, The Sleeping Bear Lakeshore National Park, and our beautiful Lake Michigan.
Most Recently, the outdoor photography locations are just a step out your front door. common places may be “Your favorite Beach, Home , Skate Park, Thirlby Field, Botanic Garden, National Lakeshore or a secret place kept all to yourself. We travel the entire Northwest Region of Michigan finding you the best of what you love. We suggest calling many weeks in advance as these time are in huge demand.
Windborne also produces beautiful children’s portraits. Windborne’s families and children’s photography is set in a background that says, “God’s Country.” Traverse City’s beaches, parks, and countrysides provide a perfect setting for creating the family heirloom sure to be fought over by your children and grandchildren. Don’t trust these memories to anyone but Windborne. . .you won’t be disappointed.
Other service offered by Windborne Photographic Studios include full commercial and aerial photography. Our photographer, Mike Drilling, has been praised for his panoramic building and home interiors. Full photo restoration is also available and has never been more affordable. Quality is never marginalized in a full restoration project. Business professional portraits are a common request, and can usually be completed on the same day.
A New tool in Mike’s toolbox is highlighted in his unique light paintings. ideal for commercial / advertising clients. Anything can be light-painted , From small food dish’s to Large aircraft. we use innovative lighting to create Beautiful Multi dimensional images.
Mike Drilling is a Canon digital professional. He uses Cannon digital cameras, lenses, white lightening strobes, and Bogen stands.
